Collections Policy
The McGreal Center facilitates Project OPUS, a multi-volume history of the Order of Preachers in the United States from 1786 to the present. The center collects materials that relate to collaborative organizations of the 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ family in the United States: laity, nuns, sisters and friars. The McGreal Center also accepts items that enhance existing collections, contribute to original scholarship and broaden resources available to our patrons.
The center’s non-circulating library includes, but is not limited to, publications related to Catholic history and spirituality, 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ Order history, parish and diocesan history, 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ congregation history, 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ spirituality, religious life, biographies of 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ figures, and other topics relevant to research on the 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ Order in the United States. All items are cataloged in and searchable through 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½â€™s .
