Living on campus is a great way to meet new people and build strong ties with your classmates.

As a campus resident, you’ll enjoy the convenience of living near classes and all your activities. What’s more, you’re likely to do better academically and adjust better to college life.

A Welcoming Community

91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½â€™s living and learning environment balances personal and academic growth with a strong sense of community. Through activities and community engagement, you’ll forge lifelong friendships and build cultural understanding.

A Multicultural Living Environment

91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ welcomes all students to the residential community. We are committed to engaging students in meaningful experiences in an open, civil, and respectful climate composed of students and staff of different genders, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, religious affiliations, races, sexual orientations, and levels of ability.

We strive for a welcoming environment where community members know each other, participate in setting guidelines under which they live, and celebrate commonalities and individual differences. We expect the residents of our community to respect and appreciate the lifestyles, values, ideas, cultures, and backgrounds of others. We believe our community must support freedom of thought and opinion in the spirit of mutual respect.

Step 1: Apply for Housing

The housing application opens in late spring each year. Please use the link below to redirect to your personal housing portal page. You will be asked to log in with your 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ login information, which was included in your IT Welcome Letter. For further step-by-step details on how to apply for housing on eRezlife housing portal, please see the following instructions (pdf opens in a new window).

Step 2: Pay Your Deposit

Please find the category that best reflects your status below.

If you plan to live on the River Forest campus, you must submit a housing application along with a $200 housing deposit to secure your on-campus residency. New students must complete their housing application before they can pay their housing deposits.

Once you’ve submitted your housing application, you can pay your housing deposit by selecting the button below. Note that initial processing of housing applications can take up to 24 hours, so you may need to wait a day after submitting your housing application before you can pay your housing deposit.

If you plan to live on the River Forest campus, you must submit a housing application along with a $50 housing deposit to secure your on-campus residency. Returning students must complete both their housing application and pay their housing deposit for a room assignment.

Once you’ve submitted your housing application, you can pay your housing deposit by selecting the button below. Note that initial processing of housing applications can take up to 24 hours, so you may need to wait a day after submitting your housing application before you can pay your housing deposit.

New students at the Chicago Campus should complete the housing application. However, because housing is required in the first year of our associate degree program, you do not need to pay a housing deposit.

Once we receive your signed housing application and housing deposit, we will make your housing assignment.

Incoming first-year students receive housing assignments by email and post during the last week of July. All other students will be notified of their assignments through email on a rolling basis.

Incoming students will register for classes during their summer SOAR.

Important Communication Information for Students

The Office of Residence Life sends all communications directly to students' 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ email addresses (my.dom.edu). Students can expect to receive important details such as room assignments, waitlist status (if applicable), and move-in instructions through their 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ email accounts.

In accordance with FERPA laws, we are limited in the information we can provide to parents or guardians. As such, all housing-related communications will be sent directly to students, and students should regularly check their 91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ email for updates.

All River Forest campus residents should report to the Coughlin Commons to check in. All students will need to have emergency contact information available during the check-in process. Please contact us at  ³ó´Ç³Ü²õ¾±²Ô²µ°ª»å´Ç³¾.±ð»å³Ü  with any questions or concerns.
