91Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½â€™s liberal arts curriculum encourages fashion students to study, discuss and challenge some of fashion’s important ethical issues throughout their four years. Those issues include:
- Fair labor policies and practices
- Body image
- Gender roles
- The role of animal products like fur
- Environmental concerns associated with textiles and dyes and other substances
Study and discussion today, with the potential of real change in the near future: that is the promise of a liberal arts education.
